The free import order allows anyone to import products freely, with the exception of items listed in the first and second supplements of the order. Where the first supplement defines when an import license is required and the second supplement defines when permits are required to import the goods.
The approvals department at AMIT works with the company's import customers, and assists them in obtaining approvals and licenses from various authorities, including: the Ministry of Economy, the Standards Institute, the ITL Laboratory, the Hermon Laboratory, the Systems Laboratory, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Mechanization and Technology, Weights and Measures, Communication, AMR (permission to import medical equipment) and more.
